Most of my fiction is influenced by my loves of poetry and screenwriting. (There's even verse in my short fiction.) Some stories might seem tragic. But, unless I'm writing something specifically dark, it's likely a tale of the triumph of the human spirit -- after a lot of obstacles are overcome (or dropkicked, as the case might be).

I incorporate humor, drama and elements of suspense in my writing. I'll even include a little romance. But, at the end of the day, I hope to entertain readers and audiences with worlds in which they see themselves, loved ones and strangers -- what makes them tick and what they can become (good or bad) -- in a different light. There's always so much more going on beneath the surface. And that's where a lot of my curiosity lies.
